The match is governed by NRA High Power rules. Click here to download the rules.
The match is shot in the prone position (belly rest on the ground) and there are three 20 minute courses of fire of 20 rounds each for record. A 10 minute period is provided for unlimited sighters prior to the first course of fire.
There are two categories in the match: F-Open and F/TR.
* The F-Open category includes any caliber up to .35 and may be shot using a front and rear rest, not connected, and a scope. Overall rifle weight cannot exceed 22.05 pounds.
* The F/TR category is restricted to either .223 or .308 caliber, using front and rear rests, not connected, and a scope. Total weight, including bipod and scope, cannot exceed 18.18 pounds.
These are NRA Registered matches and are governed by the NRA High Power rules.

Description: The Saturday Challenge is now more than just a handgun challenge. We currently have separate divisions for handguns and pistol caliber carbines (PCC). To compete, the shooter needs eye/ear protection, a gun and holster, rifle case, multiple magazines with a way to carry them and ammo. It's common (but not required) for a shooter to shoot two guns and run through the course 3 or 4 times so, bring lots of ammo.
